Kitty Kake

Will you be celebrating a feline birthday soon?
kittyHere's a cute idea for a kitty birthday cake that is sure to please.

1lb. Ground Chicken or Turkey Breast
1 Whole Egg
3/4 Cup Rolled Oats/Oatmeal
1/8 tsp. Garlic Powder (optional)
2 Tbsp. Fresh Minced Parsley

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients thoroughly into a firm consistency. If mixture is too thick, thin with chicken broth or a little water. If too thin, add a few more oats. Shape into a round or square "cake" and back for 30 to 45 minutes, until cooked thoroughly. When cool "ice" the cake with low fat cream cheese and sprinkle a little catnip for decoration.

For individual Kitty Kakes, flatten meat mixture on a cutting board or wax paper and cut with a cookie cutter in desired shapes. Or shape by hand to look like fish, mice and birds.
